German Exchange – Day 4

April 19, 2012

Phantasialand is always the highlight of the Exchange (for the students and for me!).  To get a taste of some of the rides you need to watch this short YouTube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU8ZXsoQgSQ.

On the shuttle bus back to the train station Oscar and Richard managed to put together this brief report…

It was cold and cloudy this morning which ending up working out well for us because it meant that the park was empty and we got to go on all of the rides as many times as we wanted.  We started the day by all going on a wooden roller coaster called Colorado Mountain.  This was a warm up for our next ride Black Mamba.  This was our favourite ride of the day because it goes up upside down and really fast.  However, we had fun getting soaked on River Quest eight times.  We met up after lunch and all went on Mystery Castle together which drops you 65 metres in the dark. We then had time to go back on our favourite rides before heading home.
