Bude Adventure – Monday 7th May

May 7, 2012

Our first day in Bude and what a wonderful day it was – if not a little wet!  No swim this morning due to high tides so we all set out on a 1 mile run and luckily there was a break in the rain.  We then had a great breakfast of sausages and spaghetti hoops and divided into our groups for morning activities.

My group, together with Mr Shaylor and Master Clark’s walzted down to the canal with our oars in hand and a spring in our step! 🙂 The sun was shining for most of the morning which was a great way to enjoy being soaked through by all the splashing! Unfortunately it was not sunny in the afternoon when Mrs Norris and Mr Marshall had to accompany thier groups on the canal! Oh dear.  😉

Mrs Norris and Mr Marshall’s groups did the mountain boarding in the morning where Bryony, Harry, Rory, Abbie and George shone.  Master Clarke (who was the only one who braved the elements in the afternoon) said Tommy, Max and Megan were Fab!

The intrepid adventurers came back at 5pm wet as wet can be and went straight back out to go crabbing. They are now at this very moment in time next door about to sing, sing, sing to Karaoke.

Signing off, over and out, so I can watch them in their full glory!
