Day 2 – Le Mont St Michel

Whilst the students are busy writing postcards (in French) to send to their families, I thought I would update you on what we have got up to today.  After breakfast, the students made their own bread and took part in a treasure hunt.  We had a picnic lunch and then headed to Le Mont St Michel, definitely a highlight of the visit.  The best bit was the walk along the bay – 2 1/2 hours through mud, sand and water.

We refuelled at the gîte with a BBQ dinner and George entertained us whilst cleaning up.
