Spanish Exchange – Day 3

May 1, 2014

Another beautiful day, with plenty of sunshine and fun activities. We started with a short walk to Las Marias, an equestrian and padel spanishexchangemay14day3lowrestennis centre. There we were quickly divided up into groups. Whilst one group had a padel tennis lesson with two experienced coaches the other group enjoyed first a trip in the countryside on a pony and trap and then time in the saddle. It was great to see everyone having a go at the horse riding and really enjoying it. Our international polo player certainly gave his horse quite a work out and impressed everyone with his skill! Padel tennis was excellent, too, and it was good that everyone got time to put into practice what they’d learned in the coaching session. After a picnic we followed a pine trail back to school, so keeping out of the sun, We did stop at Baskin Robbins on the way, though! Whilst there we had a useful language lesson, a tour of the school and then ended the day watching a play performed by senior students. The following day is a family day, finishing our time here with a day trip across the bay to Cadiz. More to follow …
