Stratford – Year 8 – Day 3

July 2, 2014

Day 3

Today we got up at 7.30 and had breakfast at 8.15 and at 9.15 we had a 40 min drive to the space centre. We got there at 10.40, and we were left to roam around the space centre. We really enjoyed the film ‘Astronaut’ and then we had lunch (from the hostel).
Then we went to the space challenge, Mission to Mars. It was really fun. We had to land a probe on Mars and carry out some investigations. Whilst the other group did ground control. Then we swapped.

After that we went to Bradgate Park we had lots of fun and we looked at the old historical building, the home of Lady Jane Grey, the Nine Days Queen. We had a climb on very old rocks. It was a really nice park with a good atmosphere. We were lucky to encounter lots of deer it was truly tranquil.

Then we went back to the hostel for a really good tea then we had fun in the outdoors till it was time for bed.
