Berlin Cultural Trip #2

Day two of the Ballard School Berlin Cultural trip has already been jam-packed with a good mix of activities. Thanks to Mrs P for sending in the photos.

This morning started off at the Reichstag – all wrapped up and ready for a busy day ahead.

Next the group visited the Brandenburg Gate, the only remaining city gate of Berlin formerly used to represent the separation of the city between East and West Berlin.

In line with the season and the weather, next stop was tobogganing at Potsdamer Platz.

One of the highlights for one of our students was meeting up with family currently living in Berlin, who is also an ex Ballard student – @BallardAlumni will be very interested!

For the next few hours it seems retail therapy is on the agenda – in the Mall of Berlin.

We leave this blog post with a more poignant picture  – our visit to the Jewish Memorial, located one block south of the Brandenburg Gate.

We tweet @BallardSchool
