Parents’ netball

While the children do not attend lessons on Saturday mornings Ballard is used, among other things, for parents’ hockey. Open to parents, former Ballard parents and staff, the mixed teams train every week and have a few matches throughout their ‘season’. Next week sees them visit Dean Close School in Cheltenham who will field a similar team of first time and long standing hockey players. For more information, do see Mr Reid and also the posters in the main entrance to the school.

This week saw the start of parents’ netball. With more details about how to join and where to come, please see our recent bulletin.

Also in the news this week were our winning Under 14 and 16  boys who recently won the ISA south hockey championships. This tweet has the Advertiser and Times’ article and photos. Congratulations to all involved. For more information, please read Sports’ Report #9.

Here is one of the tweets from the Forest Edge Gazette.

Open Morning

On Friday 4th March Ballard opened for one of two open mornings which happen each term. These are informal opportunities to come and visit the school, have a tour and meet the Headmaster and Senior Leadership. We captured the weather that afternoon while one of our activities, mixed football was happening.

We tweet @BallardSport and do read more about our department on our website.
