Ballard School Year 8 Trip

Warwick Castle

We arrived at Warwick Castle in glorious sunshine and were treated to a birds of prey show.

The highlights included Rachel having an eagle brush her face with its wing as it flew through the crowd.

Our visit to Warwick Castle

Some of us visited the dungeon and Miss Jackson was scared out of her wits whilst Georgina was put on trial by a medieval judge for being a witch.

We then watched a trebuchet demonstration where a fireball was sent 100 metres through the sky.

Upon arrival at the youth hostel we had our evenings meal of curry or burgers and we are now watching the England match in the games room.

We are looking forward to visiting Shakespeare’s birth place tomorrow.
