PGL, Osmington Bay – Day 2

Fifteen Year 5s ventured over the rolling Osmington Hills as they completed a 3 mile walk run. Pupils were offered the chance to join Mr Winch and only four declined! The climbs were very steep but all fifteen ran and walked brilliantly and although they were tired, the speed from some was lightning fast! The Ballard cross country club runners certainly impressed! The views, as you can see were spectacular!

Out for a morning walk / run over the Osmington Bay hills

What a way to start the day!

Jacob’s Ladder and other activities…

Raft-building, Jacob’s Ladder and singing!

Just received the update from the trip…

Another amazing day at Osmington.

This afternoon we got the wettest we have ever been!! Tunnel trails and the giant swing in nearly horizontal rain and howling winds!! And still they smiled!!

Delicious dinner of chicken nuggets and huge salads, then an evening camp-fire with very loud songs!

What a truly fantastic group of children, making the most of their trip. We are all loving it!!!

But….. a little more sleep tonight would be much appreciated!!
