Ballard in New York 2017 – Day 2

A poignant visit to begin our day

 

We began Day two in New York with a visit to the 9/11 museum.

It was a very moving visit.

Sweet treats await in NYC

After the museum visit it was off to the ‘best place in town’ for New York cheesecake – Eileens!

The cheesecake was so delicious ,even our mascot Pavarotti wanted to try some!

Food continued the theme of the day, with our local deli. The food here is fantastic!

The afternoon’s visit was to the Empire State building and en-route we stopped off at the Rockefeller Centre.

Tomorrow – Statue of Liberty Harbour cruise, MOMA gallery and a Broadway show
