New York 2017  -Day three

Do read more about our New York 2017 trip in our blog Day two, Day one (part two) and Off to New York!

It all starts with the night before…

Day two ended with a visit to the Empire State building, including a trip to the top for the view.

Skyscrapers galore on show in the New York night skyline.

The weather has been so amazing for this time of year. We enjoyed walking the blocks and seeing the sights, including this one.

It’s all get up and go in New York

Day three saw an early start – with visits to Ellis and Liberty Island as well as an art gallery and a show later on. So much to fit in meant a New York breakfast at a diner – loads of pancakes, maple syrup and bacon!

Battery Park first, then our boat trip to Ellis Island.

There were some stunning views of New York in the sunshine!

We visited MOMA gallery next – the Museum of Modern Art in New York including seeing works by cubist artist Francis Picabia.

Later on Day three – the visit to Broadway to see School of Rock at the Winter Garden Theatre.

Overall summed up by Mr M:

Great day!
