Year 8 Trip 2017 – Stratford

The #BallardTripsWeek for Year 8 has a jam-packed itinerary:

Monday- Warwick Castle and Stratford theatre – see blog one

Tuesday- Stratford- Shakespeare’s birthplace and theatre workshop

Wednesday- Wyedean activity centre

Thursday- The Big Pit and historical village

Friday- Longleat and then home!

Our visit to Shakespeare’s birthplace today includes a tour of his birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s cottage.

Some were amazed to be standing where Shakespeare lived!

We had a picnic lunch and a walk around Stratford over lunchtime.

The afternoon was taken up with a workshop on ‘Much ado about nothing’.
